Mike TheNrgizer – My Fitness Journey.

My name is Mike TheNrgizer. I started on the P90X journey and I have not turned back. When I think about “The Nrgizer” name, I think about energizer batteries (the energizer bunny keeps going, and going,…), I think about being able to do more than what people expect, I think about constant energy, I think about how can I be more energetic in my everyday life. That’s what Mike TheNrgizer is all about.

What would motivate you to get healthy and fit? Could it be your last doctor’s visit? Could it be cancer? Could it be diabetes? What will it take to get you sick and tire of being sick and tired? If you always do what you’ve always done, you always get what you always got. Something has to change. Something inside of you has to click.  That’s what happened to me.

1. My weight hit an all-time high.
2. My blood pressure was out of control.
3. I started having breathing difficulties.
4. and so forth.

 

I got sick and tire of being sick and tired. I got sick and tired of feeling sluggish.

How do you get healthy and fit?

To get healthy and fit, you have to make small changes.

1. I learned how to read food labels to identify the good and not so good ingredients.
2. I learned how to distinguish between what’s clean and what’s not.
3. I learned that about the bad fats and how they contribute to heart disease or cancer.
4. I learned that saturated fat is the key player in raising blood cholesterol.
5. I learned the dangers of consuming too much sugar.
6. I learned how to eat clean.

 

The clean foods plan helped me

1. lose over 40 pounds.
2. reduce risk factors for some serious diseases.
3. have healthier skin.
4. boost my energy.
5. improve my heart health.

 

The eat clean diet plan was huge but only a fraction of the equation. I took a fitness assessment through my company gym, where a good friend of mine helped direct my fitness path. The test showed what areas I needed work on the most. I worked too long and hard to let anything stand in the way of my goals.

1. I lifted some weights.
2. I mixed in some cardio.
3. I fed my body a daily dose of superfood nutrition.

 

How did Mike “The Nrgizer” get physically fit?

I worked out with my wife at a neighborhood gym, where I was introduced to the P90X routines. I had so much energy and excitement for the exercises, the instructor nicknamed me “The Nrgizer”. While at the gym, I stumbled upon a small group doing Insanity twice a week. The group participation experience inspired me to buy the Insanity workout online. The Insanity program helped me get into the best shape of my life. I combined the Insanity program with Shakeology to maximize my results. It was muscular endurance training at its best. After doing 2 rounds of Insanity, I took my craziness to a new level with Insanity: The Asylum. Watch video below for sneak preview.

 

 

Anyone who spends time around me knows my passion is to

1. live a healthy life.
2. eat clean.
3. and work out.

I help many people get healthy with my clean foods list. Because of my results, people asked me for weight loss advice. I am both a certified personal trainer and coach. I become a Beachbody Coach because I want to have an impact on other peoples’ lives. My focus as coach is to help people I coach get healthy, and help the coaches on my team reach their financial goals.
