The Power Behind Setting Goals.
We all have dreams and aspirations. Setting goals is a way to achieve something that most people dream about. What does that mean? To achieve great things, you must have a burning desire to succeed. Thomas Edison once said, “When a person desires something so deeply that he would stake his future on a turn of the wheel, he’s a sure bet to win.” The goal has to be big enough to make you persist when obstacles come. Michael Jordan is a great example of persistence. Nothing could stop him from being all that he could be. Sure, the skeptics said he would not succeed. Sure he ran into some speed bumps, but his hard work made him who he is today. What made his persistence so strong was his desire. One of his goals was to win championships. His desire was so big that it would not let him quit. To be a champ, you have to believe in what you do. That’s the power behind setting goals and having success.
Setting Goals for Better Health.
Let’s say you want to get healthy and fit. You are going to have some highs and lows. Consistency is the key to your success. You have to decide in your mind that you want it, and then take action. That’s what I did. I followed a strict nutrition and fitness plan. Was it easy? No, but the results we’re fantastic. You have to do something different to get something different. The more you think about something, the more it gets deeper in your mind. Many times we say, “I think I can lose weight” as opposed to “I will lose 15 pounds by January 31st.” A realistic goal with a deadline brings on a whole new meaning. It gives you a sense of purpose and a greater chance for success. Add to that writing down the goal, and you are one step closer!
Questions to think about:
1. Why do you want to lose weight?
2. Why do you want to have more energy?

4. Why do you want to get ripped?
5. Do you have that burning desire to get the body you want?
I can teach you how to get the results but it’s up to you get the results.
